What Is Voice2Email?

The Voice2Email feature allows callers to leave a message. You’ll then receive the recording as an audio file in your inbox. The great thing is that every Belfabriek number owner has free access to Voice2Email; there are no additional costs involved.

This feature is particularly useful in the following situations:

  • You’re on another call
  • You can’t answer the phone
  • The wait time or queue is too long
  • Someone calls outside office hours

Not everyone will call back later. By giving callers the opportunity to leave their question as a message, and by being able to listen to it immediately, you can determine if immediate action is required. You’ll not only receive the message but also details like the caller’s full phone number, the exact time of the call, and the extension (e.g., department or branch) the caller tried to reach.

Activation: Step-by-Step Instructions

Activating Voice2Email is very simple. Follow the steps below to allow your callers to leave a message:

  • Log in to Mijn Belfabriek.
  • Go to Number Settings.
  • If you have multiple numbers with Belfabriek: select the number for which you want to activate Voice2Email from the drop-down menu.
  • Scroll down on the Number Settings page to the Voice2Email section.
  • Toggle the switch to ‘on’ and save the new settings at the bottom of the page.

Tip: If you use a Menu, you can have voicemails sent to different email addresses. This way, the appropriate department receives the voicemail and can take immediate action.
