One of the reasons to choose a 0900 number is the fact that, as a number owner, you can set the rate for your callers. Currently, you can set a maximum rate of €0.80 per minute or choose a rate of up to €1.30 per call.

These rates limit the hourly rate that 0900 number owners can pay their phone staff. Indirectly, these rates also influence the type of services they can offer over the phone. For years, number holders have been requesting higher maximum rates per minute or per call.

Starting April 2, 2013

As of April, the request of 0900 number owners has been granted, allowing call centers and contact centers to expand their service offerings to better assist their customers. The new maximum rates for 0900 numbers will be:

  • €0.90 per minute
  • €1.40 per call

These rates will be effective starting April 2013. Specifically, you can take advantage of these new maximum prices starting April 2, 2013, as April 1 is a holiday (Easter Monday).

Update Your Rates in Time

If you wish to use these new rates, make sure to update them in time. This can be done via your personal dashboard on My Belfabriek, by email, or phone.

Note: To have your new rates take effect in April, you must submit your request at least 5 days before the end of the month, so no later than March 25, 2013.
