Working from home. Some people love it. Other people are driven crazy by it. But now that the Coronavirus is striking mercilessly, there is often no choice. Working from home is a harsh necessity. But how do you guarantee accessibility when employees work in different places? And how do you deal with colleagues who are sometimes available and sometimes not, for example because the kids are sprinting across the kitchen table?

This page helps you to set up working from home properly, so that your organization remains ‘just’ accessible. This time we do that on the basis of frequently asked questions about working from home. More inspiring examples of working from home? Here you will find current information about our opening hours and the allocation of virtual work-from-home numbers. Here you can read how we set up a virtual call center for the remote workers of the Humanitas Foundation within one working day. And here we introduce you to a Corona crisis line from KPMG. Working from home is currently a ‘must’, but with the right work-from-home solution it becomes a very pleasant experience. Perhaps your remote workers will not want to go back to the office at all! ;-)

Case

You have a telephone number with a telephone exchange. All your devices are at the office location. But your employees have to work from home. How do you ensure that customers can still reach you easily?

Solution

Belfabriek sets up a new, virtual number for you. Your ‘regular’ number is forwarded to it. Our platform forwards callers one-on-one to available remote workers. Namely to their mobile numbers. Done! There is also an alternative; you can move your telephone number to us. Both options are ideal for working from home and optimize accessibility.

Case

You want to set up a (emergency) helpline with a group of volunteers. These employees work from home.

Solution

First choose whether you want callers to pay costs (0900), contact for free (0800) or obtain information from your remote workers at a local rate (085). Request a number via our webshop or by calling 0800-235 3227. Provide a list of remote workers and their (mobile) numbers. We will then build a remote work call group and forward calls to the members (your remote workers). These remote workers can easily log in and out via our app. For example, if they are not available for a day to take care of the children. So working from home with retention of flexibility!

Case

You want a new number, especially for this period of working from home.

Solution

Choose a nice number from our webshop. Then choose from the many (free!) options that make working from home easy, such as a queue, welcome text, selection menu (and so on). Our employees register and activate the work-from-home number. That goes quickly, because we also work in the evenings and on weekends. Your work-from-home number is therefore up and running within a few working days, including all the options that facilitate working from home.
