Numbers in the 088 number series are issued in blocks of 100, 1000 or even 10,000 numbers. Because most organizations request blocks of 100 numbers, that is the standard block size in our 088 number shop. If you want to request blocks of 1000 or 10,000 numbers, that is of course also possible. In that case, please contact us and we will arrange the request.

Yes, calling an 0800 number is always free for the caller.

An 0800/0900 number is a special national number. It cannot be called from abroad. If you also want to speak to foreign callers, we can arrange a national telephone number in the countries you want. Take a look in our international number shop to see which numbers we can currently supply from stock, or feel free to contact us.

For frequently requested countries we can supply numbers from stock. We can often activate your number within 1 business day. No. Belfabriek does not supply 0906 and 18xy numbers. We only supply business and information numbers in the 0800/0900/085/088 and local numbers. In addition, we supply service numbers in more than 78 countries worldwide.

An 0800 number is always free for the caller. For a 0900 number, a maximum rate of €1.10 per minute or €1.80 per call applies. For 085 and 088 numbers , calling these numbers does not cost more than the local rate.

Name calling is calling with the letters on the telephone. In this way, letters in a word are “translated” into a number. For example, the number ‘2’ stands for a, b or c. An example of a name number is 0800-belfabriek, which in this way translates into 0800-2353227. Name numbers are therefore numbers that are understandable and therefore easy to remember.

An 0800 number is free for the caller. With a 0900 number, the caller pays a rate that can vary from €0.00 to €1.10 per minute or €1.60 per call.

In the Netherlands we have a difference between so-called “short” and “long” 0800 and 0900 numbers. The normal or “long” service numbers consist of 7 digits after thearea code, while “short” service numbers have only 4 digits after thearea code. Short numbers are therefore easier to remember than long numbers . However, because there are only a limited number of 4-digit numbers available, the ACM(formerly OPTA) has attached additional conditions to the use of these numbers. The ACM (formerly OPTA) is the government-appointed manager and supervisor of telephone numbers, including all service numbers . Even when you request your number from Belfabriek, the number isregistered with the ACM — in your company name. This means that the number always remainsyour property. The ACM registers your number and Belfabriek performs the service. We ensure that all calls are received on the devices you require.
