Number owners may want to block mobile callers for various reasons. These service numbers are then only accessible from a landline. Mobile callers will hear a message explaining this.

One reason number owners decide to activate such a filter is that 0800-number owners often do not want to bear the extra costs passed on by telecom providers for mobile callers.

If you have hosted your service number with Belfabriek, you can easily block mobile callers using the Mobile Block feature.

Activating the Mobile Caller Filter

As a Belfabriek customer, you can activate the Mobile Block feature at any time via our online My Belfabriek dashboard or our Belfabriek app for your mobile phone or tablet.

Go to Number Settings and scroll to the Mobile Block option. You can enable or disable the feature using the toggle button.

Adding an Announcement Message

You can record an announcement message to inform mobile callers that your service number is only accessible from a landline or to redirect these callers to another phone number.

If you have already recorded a message, you can upload it here as well.

All your changes are saved immediately. To ensure the accessibility of your service number, one of our staff members will review the changes before they are applied to your number.
