How Does a Menu Work?
A menu is a set of options that callers hear after dialing a service number, allowing them to make a choice using the phone’s keypad. For example: “Press 1 for questions about your subscription, press 2 for payments,” and so on.
When the caller then presses a number on the phone, our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system recognizes it and automatically forwards the call to the appropriate department or employee.
