A freephone number is a service telephone number that is always free of charge for the person who calls. The servicenumber owner pays the costs.

How does it work?

A service number is a virtual number that is forwarded to one or more regular telephone numbers. These numbers are also called ring-to numbers. As the owner of the servicenumber, you can select these ring-to numbers yourself and they can be changed at any given moment.

Callers of a freephone number are forwarded to a ring-to number of your choice by means of our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. The ring-to number could be your regular home phone number or that in your office, but also your mobile phone. Phone companies might charge extra fees for redirecting to a mobile number.

In some countries telephone companies also charge extra costs when someone calls a Freephone number from a mobile phone. Therefore, the CallFactory offers servicenumber owners the option to block calls from mobile numbers.
